Bhubaneswar/Bolangir: BJD MLA from Kantabanji, Ayub Khan often makes headlines for all the wrong reasons and it seems he is least interested to learn from his mistakes.

Recently, a video showing the MLA denying ration card to an old woman for not voting for his party had went viral. In the video, Khan was seen misbehaving with the senior citizen, who reportedly came for a food security card. However, the MLA threatened the woman with depriving her coverage under the food security scheme as she voted for BJP.

This act of Khan forced Bolangir MP Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo to visit the house of the woman and apologise on behalf of the party.

"The incident has come to the notice of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. I went to the house of the woman (Sabitri Kumbhar) and apologised on behalf of the party," said Singh Deo.

This is not the first time that allegations of such misbehaviour have surfaced against Khan. A few days ago, during a meeting in Kantabanji NAC office amid presence of the MP and district collector, Khan yelled at Muribahal block chairman Hansraj Jain and called him a 'thief.'

In his defence, Khan said he spoke a bit harsh to Jain during the meeting.

However, Jain in his response said "Khan always misbehaves with people. I think he has not learned how to behave."

Earlier, a complaint was lodged against Khan for foul-mouthing people and locals had even protested in front of Kantabanji Police Station demanding his arrest. Besides, he also had a spat with former MLA of the constituency Santosh Singh Saluja.
