Bhubaneswar: Stepping up his attack on the Naveen Patnaik government, rebel MP Pyarimohan Mohapatra on Sunday said that the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) was into political bargaining for the district and block level president posts.
“Without coming out with the electoral roll, the party is into bargains for making choice-based presidents at the block and district levels,” said Mohapatra.
Talking to newsmen at a press conference here, the Odisha Jana Morcha (OJM) chairman said the BJD supremo Naveen would lose CM post in the coming general election.
“He (Naveen) will no more be the Chief Minister once the coming election is over. For sure, he will be regarded as the ex-Chief Minister,” said the OJM chief.
Earlier, raising question on the validity of the November 16 state executive meeting in which Pyari was expelled from the party, he had termed the electoral process illegal saying the BJD president had extended the membership drive till last October 31 but the electoral rolls should have been published by September 30.
Pyari informed that about ten thousand activists will attend OJM’s to workers’ meet at Jaipur on January 18.
