The state unit of BJP is reportedly imparting training to its elected corporators and councillors on how to wean away the voters in slum areas from the lure of the ruling BJD government’s schemes.

A woman in Berhampur of Ganjam district set a glaring example by donating her organs. The 56-year-old was declared brain dead on November 2 at AMRI Hospital in Bhubaneswar.

Till the time of filing of this report, simultaneous house searches were being carried out by the Odisha Vigilance officials on the basis of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
