Puri: A paramedical student from West Bengal was died while taking bath in the sea here today, police said. Santanu Mukherjee, a student in hospital management of the Paramedical Science College at Durgapur, was suspected to have been dragged by the sea current near Digabareni Khunta, they said.

Altogether 30 persons including students and teachers of the college had came here in study tour and here today and were putting up in a private hotel. "If any life guard was present here then the accident may not be occoured", said one of the teacher of the college. More than 15 people had died in the sea in this year.
