BDO misbehaves lady employees, suspended

Rourkela: A Block Development Officer (BDO) was placed under suspension for allegedly misbehaving with three tribal women employees in Sundargarh district.

Sundargarh district collector Ruparoshan Sahu said today that the suspension order on BDO of Kutra Niranjan Sahu was received on January 31 and the order was communicated to him on Thursday.

The BDO, had allegedly misbehaved with the three tribal women employees of Kutra block in October, 2011 who had to the collector on October 17, 2011, sources said.

The collector had made a departmental inquiry by the ADM, Sundargarh on October 24 and sent the probe report to the government for disciplinary action.
The three women employees had also filed FIRs in November against the BDO with the Kutra police, sources said.
