In a major step towards strengthening public outreach and ensuring transparency, the Vice-Chairman (VC) of the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) will conduct a dedicated grievance hearing for allottees on the first Saturday of every month. The hearing will begin at 11.30 am and will be held at the First Floor Conference Hall of the BDA.
Monthly Grievance Meeting
According to an official order issued by the BDA, the grievance hearing will mainly focus on cases related to the Task Force findings, the General Administration (G.A.) Audit Report, and assets handled by the Allotment Branch. Allottees who have grievances concerning these issues have been encouraged to present their problems during the scheduled hearing.

Since assuming charge, BDA Vice-Chairman Chanchal Rana has been placing strong emphasis on addressing public grievances and improving service delivery. As part of this approach, he had earlier started grievance hearings related to the Planning Branch to ensure faster resolution of pending issues and better coordination with citizens.
Involvement Of BMC
Following his instructions, grievance hearings related to BDA planning matters are being jointly conducted with the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). These hearings take place at the BMC Planning Branch on the first Saturday of every month, between 11 am and 1 pm.
In addition to the monthly hearings, a joint weekly public grievance related to issues of BDA, BMC and Smart City is being held every Monday from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at the LG Conference Hall of the BMC, ICOMC Building, Bhoi Nagar, Unit-IX, Bhubaneswar.
These initiatives reflect the BDA’s commitment to responsive governance and providing a structured platform for citizens to voice their concerns.
