Cuttack: Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday trained his guns on Odisha government and alleged that the people in the State are suffering due to ruling-BJD's misrule.

Speaking on the sideline of the party's 'Misrana Parba' at Choudwar, Panda said that expectant mothers are being carried in sling while bodies are carried on shoulder due to lack of healthcare facilities and other infrastructure in the State. "Hundreds of crores is available under Centre's Ayushman Bharat Yojana, but Odisha is not interested in implementing the scheme," he said.

The BJP Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate further alleged that despite availability of funds, farmers are not getting assistance as the State government is not interested in disbursing the money.

BJP's Cuttack parliamentary constituency candidate Prakash Mishra, who was also present at the event, said that the party's focus will be on revival of the industrial hub at Choudwar and more projects would be brought to the State in future.
