Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla lands in Bhubaneswar, inspires youth to join aerospace

Eminent astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, who has arrived in Odisha on Tuesday, will participate in a special programme organised by a private school in Bhubaneswar tomorrow. He will share his experience in space with the children.

Speaking exclusively to OTV, Shubhanshu expressed his delight, saying that he is very happy to be in Odisha.

Shukla emphasised that Odia children must enter the field of space science. He further said that he wants children of Odisha to study hard and move forward in space research.

The astronaut also stated that the feeling of being in space was truly unique, and he will be sharing that experience here. 

Encouraging young aspirants, Shukla said that those who are interested in aerospace, he will definitely motivate them.

"I have just landed in Odisha. I have earlier visited Odisha. I am very much excited to share my experience with the children in an event organised here. I am looking forward for it," said Shubhanshu Shukla.

"The experience (in space) is quite different. The experience is literally out of the world. Fortunately I have gained the experience and now I have the responsibility to share with the people. I will share this experience with the children tomorrow," he further said.

"Children in Odisha must study space science. I think the direction in which India is heading towards, we will need these kinds of children who are interested in  aerospace. They will contribute to the field in the future. I would like to encourage them to move forward in the field as we will need them in future," he added.
