(image) Bhubaneswar: The death toll in the Asiatic gas station explosion at Vedvyas area in Rourkela increased to three on Sunday.The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Das, Murlidhar Behera and Shatrughan Babsha.The labourers have taken the body of the deceased laboures under their custody and have begun an agitation demanding compensation of Rs 10 lakh and job for families of the deceased.
They have also demanded proper security for the labourers working in the gas station and immediate arrest of the employees responsible for the mishap.Earlier on Saturday, two employees were killed and five injured, one of them seriously, in an explosion at the gas filling station.Though the exact reason of the explosion is yet to be ascertained but the failure of the cooling system in the gas filling station is stated to be the reason behind the incident.
