Bargarh: Within a span of less than two months, two members of a family have allegedly committed suicide here after being unable to repay loans due to crop loss.

The victim identified as Trilochan Bhuye hanged himself to death on Thursday allegedly due to loan burden. On January 26, Trilochan’s father Bhairav had also committed suicide after he suffered huge crop loss due to untimely rain.

Crops over nearly six acres of land were washed away in the rains following which Bhairav committed suicide.

Meanwhile, a case of unnatural death (UD) has been registered after post-mortem.
