Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the BJP’s national executive meeting scheduled on August 18 and 19, the party’s National President Amit Shah will review the tasks assigned to office bearers of various states in New Delhi today .

BJP National Secretary Suresh Pujari who is attending the meeting will brief Shah on the progress of organisational work and targets achieved by the party in  Odisha since Shah’s last visit to the state.The focus will be on efforts made by party workers at booth level, informed sources.

“We had been given specific tasks to accomplish within a stipulated time frame and party workers have done their best to achieve the targets. If Shah Ji feels that we have accomplished it, he will give us new targets, else he will direct us to complete the old tasks as soon as possible,” said Pujari

It may be noted that Shah, during his last visit to the state had assigned certain tasks to party workers under his ambitious Mission 120 plus target. The leader had stressed on the need to form booth committees in all the polling booths in the State.

Today’s meeting will also have discussions on different proposals to be discussed during  the two-day National Executive meeting to be held at New Delhi ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
