Ambulance crashes into house in Odisha’s Nayagarh, three critical

An ambulance crashed into a house in Daspalla area of Odisha's Nayagarh district late on Saturday night, leaving three people seriously injured. The incident occurred at Buguda Chhak when the vehicle reportedly lost control and rammed into the house.

According to reports, the ambulance suddenly veered off the road and entered the residential premises, causing significant damage to the structure. The impact of the crash broke a portion of the house wall, trapping and injuring those inside at the time of the accident.

Three Injured Admitted to Hospital

Three persons sustained serious injuries after the wall collapsed due to the impact of the ambulance. The injured individuals were immediately rescued and shifted to the Daspalla Community Health Centre for treatment.

Sources said the incident occurred while the occupants of the house were asleep, which intensified the shock and panic following the sudden crash. Local residents rushed to the spot soon after the accident and helped in rescue efforts.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident. Officials are examining how the ambulance lost control and crashed into the house.
