All for by-cycles:Lock in school

Basudevpur: The students of the Kalindi Charan Sanskrit Vidyala at Padhuan have locked the main entrance of the class and boycotted classes demanding inclusion of sanskrit schools in the by-cycles for class ten girl students scheme in the state.

The Circle Inspector of Schools had written a letter to the headmaster of the sanskrit school to furnish details about the class ten girls in order to open bank accounts to avail by-cycles. Even bank accounts were opened in the name of the girls in the Chudamani branch of the Kalinga Co-Operative Bank. But, later on, the CI of Schools intimated the headmaster that girl students of sanskrit schools were not covered under the scheme.
