Bhubaneswar: With an aim to ease the payment pain faced by hundreds of patients every day, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, today launched pre-paid or cash less card service.

AIIMS director Dr. Ashok Mahopatra, said, “Patients, who are coming frequently to the premier health institute , will no longer have to wait in the long queues and face cumbersome process for paying their bills, as this system will enable them to recharge the card in advance”.

One can recharge the card with a certain amount, and can use it as per the requirement, Mohapatra added.
The card, which will remain valid for at least one year, can also ensure treatment here even if it does not carry sufficient funds, said superintendent Ambika Prasad Mahanty.
