Bhubaneswar: The admissions to Plus II courses under Council for Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will begin from May 27 instead of May 15.

"The result of CBSE Board examination has not been published yet. So, keeping the interest of students we have decided to start the admission process for Plus II courses both in offline and online from May 27 to June 12," informed Badrinarayan Patra, Higher Education minister.

Sources said junior colleges across the state will declare first selection list of candidates on June 12 and the first phase of admissions will be from June 26 to June 30. The second selection list will  be published based on the seat vacancy after the first selection.

Notably, the admission into Plus II courses was scheduled to begin on May 15 because of early announcement of the High School Certificate (HSC) examination results.

To simplify the admission process, the details of HSC students have been integrated with the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) database. Now, a student can fill up Common Admission Form (CAF) online by providing their HSC examination roll numbers.
