Malkangiri: Uncertainty over fate of abducted villager, Suba, from Poteru here came to rest after he returned to his village on Tuesday. Suba was among the five villagers who were picked up by Maoists from MV-79. While three of them were released, one was later hacked to death.

The villager was killed on suspicion of being a police informer. This was established from the Maoist letters found along side his body. It was suspected that the body was dumped after killing him.

As Suba was untraced since then, suspense over his whereabouts was giving nervous moments to the family members.

But finally on the seventh day of the kidnapping, the ultras released Suba, a former militia of the outlawed group. Suba shared his horrific experience, an OdishaTV exclusive report.
