9 pairs of summer special trains by ECoR

Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run nine pairs of weekly and bi-weekly special trains across various destinations of the country in a bid to clear additional rush of passengers during the summer.

ECoR will run six pairs of Suvidha special trains and three pairs of long distance Summer Special Trains for the benefit of the passengers, an ECoR release said.

These Suvidha trains include Puri-Santragachhi, Sambalpur-Yesvantpur, Bhubaneswar-Krishnarajpuram (Bangalore), Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajpuram, Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam-Tirupati, it said.

08451 Bhubaneswar-Krishnarajpuram bi-weekly SUVIDHA train will leave Bhubaneswar at 2250 hrs every Wednesday & Saturday and reach Krishnarajpuram at 2300 hrs the next day between April 6 and June 25, 2016. In the return direction, 08452 Krishnarajpuram-Bhubaneswar bi-Weekly SUVIDHA train will leave Krishnarajpuram at 0100 hrs every Monday & Friday (just after midnight of Sunday & Thursday) and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 0145 hrs the following day between April 8 and June 27, 2016.

08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur weekly SUVIDHA train will leave Sambalpur at 1100 hrs every Wednesday and reach Yesvantpur at 1640 hrs the next days between April 6 and June 22, 2016. In return direction, 08302 Yesvantpur-Bhubaneswar Weekly SUVIDHA train will leave Yesvantpur at 0030hrs every Friday and arrive at Sambalpur at 0430hrs the following days between April 8 and June 24, 2016.

08401 Puri-Santragachhi (Howrah) weekly SUVIDHA train will leave Puri at 2125hrs every Wednesday and reach Santragachhi at 0700hrs the next day between April 6 and June 29, 2016. In return direction, 08402 Santragachhi-Puri train will leave Santragachhi at 1900hrs on every Thursday and arrive at Puri at 0400hrs the following day between April 7 and June 30, 2016, it said.

06336 Kochuveli-Guwahati weekly Special will leave Kochuveli at 1200hrs every Sunday and reach Guwahati at 0815 hrs the next Wednesday between April 3 and June 26. In the return direction, 06335 Guwahati-Kochuveli Special will leave Guwahati at 2325hrs every Wednesday and arrive at Kochuveli at 2230hrs on Saturdays between April 6 and June 29.

00837 Shalimar(Howrah)-Puri weekly AC Special train will leave Shalimar at 2355hrs on April 22 (Tuesday) and reach Puri at 0835hrs the next day. In return direction, 00838 Puri-Shalimar Weekly AC Special will leave Puri at 2335hrs on April 23 (Wednesday) and arrive at Santragachhi at 0905hrs on the following day.

02877 Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajpuram bi-weekly SUVIDHA train will leave Visakhapatnam on 0530 hrs every Tuesday and Friday and reach Krishnarajpuram at 2300 hrs between April 5 and June 24.

In return journey, 02878 Krishnarajpuram-Visakhapatnam bi-Weekly train will leave Krishnarajpuram at 0100hrs every Wednesday and Saturday and reach Visakhapatnam at 1800hrs between April 8 and to June 27.
