6 Killed In Separate Road Mishaps In Odisha

Keonjhar/Baripada/Rourkela: As many as six persons were killed in separate road accidents in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh districts.

In Keonjhar, a man, his 5-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were killed after the motorcycle they were travelling on was hit by a car near Ganesh Bhawan under Joda Police limits of the district. The driver of the car, who also suffered critical injuries, had reportedly stolen the car at gunpoint – a complaint regarding which has been lodged at police station.

In another incident, two persons lost their lives in a head-on collision between two bikes at Nahara Chhak under Khunta Police limits of Mayurbhanj district.

In Rourkela, a man succumbed to injuries after a truck hit his two-wheeler on Kolunga level crossing in Brahmanitarang area.
