3 killed in bus-motorcycle collision in Bolangir

Bolangir: At least three persons were killed after a motorcycle collided head-on with a bus near Luhuripali under Saintala police limits of the district late Sunday night.

As per sources, the incident occurred when the bus carrying passengers was en route to Bhubaneswar from Bhawanipatna. Suddenly, the bus collided with the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, injuring the bikers grievously.

Following the mishap, the injured were rushed to the Saintala hospital where doctors declared them dead.

Till the last reports came in, the identities of the deceased were yet to be ascertained. On receiving information, Saintala police reached the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident.
