Cuttack: The State crime branch on Friday conducted raid on the Kalinga Bharati Residential College near Gopalpur on the outskirt of the city here in connection with the Plus II question paper leak case.
The investigating agency had earlier arrested three persons including suspended deputy secretary of Council of Higher Secondary Education, Sambalpur Zone in this connection. The CB had also raided some other colleges in the case.
The state government had cancelled the Physics examination in March following the question paper leak. The incident had drawn flak from every corner including Opposition parties in Odisha Assembly. They held higher education minister responsible for such repeated mistakes and demanded his resignation.
The government later ordered the State crime branch to investigate the matter. A PIL was also filed in the Orissa High Court following which the court had asked the CB to produce status report of the investigation.
