15 students injured as school van slips into pond in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: As many as 15 school students were injured after the van they were travelling in slipped into a pond near Hatadihi Block of Anandpur area of the district today.

As per reports, the school van carrying the students to a private school at Banta area, slipped off the main road near Jambhari village and fell into a pond after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Subsequently, some local residents rescued the trapped students.

While one student was critically injured, several others received minor injuries in the accident. The critically injured student has been admitted to Anandpur Hopsital and the others are undergoing treatment at Hatadihi medical.
