Berhampur: At least 11 persons, including two women, were injured in clash between two groups at a village in Ganjam district, police said on Saturday.

The clash, in which crude bombs and fire-arms were used, took place at Golapalli village, about 35 km from here on Friday over a petty dispute, they said.

At least nine persons, including two women, were arrested from both sides, the police said.

While the injured were admitted to the sub divisional hospital at Chhatrapur, two of them were referred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, the police said.

The situation in the village was now under control and police force was deployed to prevent further flare up, they added.
