Keonjhar: One person died and five others were seriously injured when a jeep turned turtle in Odisha`s Keonjhar district on Thursday.

The jeep skidded off the road as the driver applied brake to save a goat and then overturned at Mandua under Keonjhar town police limits, police said.

All the injured have been admitted to the district headquarters hospital here and their condition stated to be critical, the sources said. The jeep, with 15 on board, was on way from Keonjhar to Janghira.
