1 killed, 2 critical in a series of truck collisions in Bhadrak

Balasore: At least one person was killed and two others sustained critical injuries in a series of collision involving three trucks on NH-26 near Bhagia Chhak under Semulia police station in the district today.

The first collision occurred when a truck heading towards Bhadrak from Balasore was hit by another speeding truck from behind. The driver of the truck which dashed into the first truck was crushed and subsequently died on the spot.

In a matter of time, another truck coming on the way collided the trucks from behind, added sources.

While the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, the other two truck drivers have been admitted to Semulia hospital where they are undergoing treatment.

Getting information, Semulia police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
