Kalahandi: Ampani police today recovered bodies of a youth and a young woman from a farmland in Amapali village of Kalahandi district.
According to sources, locals spotted the body of the youth hanging from a tree in the farm while the woman was found lying close by. While identities of the deceased could not be established, locals suspect that there could possibly be a love affair between the duo, which might have caused their untimely deaths.
Though it is yet to be ascertained whether the incident is a suicide or murder, Ampali police has recovered both the bodies and begun further investigation into the matter.
Last month, a similar incident was reported in Angul when a man and a woman were found dead, hanging from a tree near Kumanda Chandibazar area of the district. Their death is still a mystery.
