Youth thrashed by BJD activists during party’s ‘Jana Sampark Padyatra’

Bolangir: Another instance of hooliganism by BJD activists came to the fore today after a youth held by police on charges of hurling eggs during the party’s Jana Sampark Padyatra at Saintala in Bolangir was thrashed mercilessly by the ruling party activists.

As per reports, while Minister Sushant Singh and Titlagarh MLA Tukuni Sahu were going in a rally, the youth allegedly threw eggs. Later, police chased the youth and nabbed him. But surprisingly, BJD activists thrashed the youth in presence of police. Moreover, the minister also allegedly manhandled the youth.

Meanwhile, talks are doing rounds that rift in the party could be the reason behind the egg attack. Police have detained the youth and quizzing him about the egg attack.
