Jagatsinghpur: In yet another drowning incident, a youth met watery grave at Hansua river in Jaipur of the district today. The deceased has been identified as Sudhansu Sekhar Das.
As per repots, Sudhansu along with his friend Sagar Das had gone to the river and both of them slipped into deep waters while taking bath.
While Sudhansu drowned in the river, locals managed to save his friend in a critical condition and admitted him to District Headquarter Hospital (DHH). His condition is stated to be normal.
In a similar incident another youth went missing while taking bath in Mahanadi river near Chahata ghat in the district today.
On being informed fire brigade personnel reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. Further details are being awaited.
