Bhubaneswar: As Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik turned 75 today, wishes started pouring in for the top dignitaries including PM Narendra Modi and other senior leaders from across the political divide.
"Birthday greetings to Odisha CM Shri Naveen Patnaik Ji. Praying for his long and healthy life," tweeted the PM.
Various leaders across parties including Home Minister Amit Shah, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, OPCC chief Niranjan Patnaik and others have tweeted their greetings for Patnaik.
Padma Shri Sudarsan Pattnaik also extended his wishes to the CM through his sand art at Puri sea beach.
It is to be noted that this year because of the pandemic situation and the hardships people are facing as a result of this, CM Naveen has decided against celebrating his birthday. He has urged his supporters, well-wishers and party activists not to visit his residence, and instead, help the needy and donate blood and plasma on the occasion. “I am always indebted to the love and good wishes of the people of Odisha,” Patnaik said.
