Weather Warning: Met department issues thunderstorm alert

Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for nine Odisha districts.

As per the latest weather bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts of Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Puri, Cuttack, Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Khurda including Bhubaneswar between 1 PM and 4 PM today.

People in these districts have been advised to remain alert during the thunderstorm.
