Bhubaneswar: Several parts of Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall on December 25 and 26, predicted IMD’s Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Monday.
Mainly several parts in north and north coastal districts will experience light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorm activities for a period of two days, informed HR Biswas, director of Regional Meteorological Centre.
According to Biswas, one or two places in the districts of Sundergarh, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj will experience rainfall on December 25.
There is a possibility of light rain in several north coastal districts including Balasore, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur. Besides, there is also possibility of thunderstorm activity in the districts of Dhenkanal, Angul and Sundergarh.
“The weather will be mostly dry and cloudy in the next 24 hours. Several parts of Odisha will experience light to moderate rainfall on December 25 and 26,” said Biswas.
Biswas further stated that the minimum temperature will register a drop in several parts of Odisha after 48 hours. Moreover, shallow to moderate fog will prevail in north Odisha districts along with several parts in Khurda, Puri, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Koraput.
