Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for several districts of the State.
As per the latest weather forecast, moderate thundershower and lightning with one or two spells of rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Khurda (Bhubaneswar), Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Jajpur between 10.15 am and 1.15 pm.
The weather department has also continued its rainfall warning for the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada and Koraput during the time. Earlier in the day, thundershower alert was issued for the above mentioned districts till 10.30 am.
People in these districts have been advised to remain alert in view of the inclement weather.
