Weather Alert: Thunderstorm and lightning alert for 6 districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today issued thunderstorm alert for six districts in Odisha.

As per the latest bulletin, moderate thunderstorm and lightning accompanied by light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places in Jajpur, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Khurda and Cuttack districts between 7:30 pm and 10:30 PM today.

The people in these districts have been asked to remain alert as gusty wind reaching a speed 30 to 40 kmph will also prevail during the thunderstorm.
