Weather Alert: Met Issues Lightning, Rainfall Warning For 7 Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Thursday issued thunderstorm with lightning and rainfall alert for seven districts of Odisha. The warning has been issued for the districts– Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri and Koraput districts till 4 PM today.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at a one or two places over the districts of Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri and Koraput till 4 PM,” informed the IMD.

People in these areas have been asked to remain alert and stay indoors during the period.
