Weather Alert: 11 Odisha Districts Warned Of Thunderstorm, Lightning And Rainfall

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department in Bhubaneswar has warned of thunderstorm and lightning accompanied by moderate rainfall in as many as eleven districts of Odisha today.

Dangerous thunderstorm and lightning alert has been issued for Khaira and Oupada block of Balasore district till 5.27 PM and for Bansapal, Keonjhar, Patna, Jhumpura and Champua blocks of Keonjhar district; Sukruli, Jashipur, Remuna and Kusumi blocks of Mayurbhanj district within 5.22 PM today.

Initially, the Met department forecast light to moderate thunderstorm and lightning at a few places over the districts of Mayurbhanj and Balasore between 3:15 PM and 6:15 PM today.
