Berhampur: Ever since the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act, 2019 has come into force, motorists have been forced to shell out hefty fines for violating traffic norms which at times result in police-public face-off.

At this juncture, people are also not keeping behind in revealing the cops who are indulging in flouting traffic norms. One such incident has come to the fore from Odisha's Ganjam district and the video of the same is currently doing round on social media.

The video purportedly shows a police van bearing Registration No- OD05C 7564 emitting black smoke. The van, with two cops onboard, was reportedly en-route to Palur from Huma when a person intercepted the cops midway and asked them to show the pollution under test (PUC) certificate of the vehicle. However, they reportedly started the van and left the spot in a hurry.

Subsequently, two other youths who were present at the spot followed the van and recorded the entire incident in their mobile phone camera.
