Utkal Bharat party chief Kharavela Swain attacked during public meeting

Aul: Utkal Bharat party chief Kharavela Swain was allegedly attacked and manhandled during a public meeting in Aul today for targeting Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in his speech.

As per the charges levelled by Swain, some miscreants created ruckus when he spoke against the CM during a speech this afternoon.

He was allegedly manhandled and threatened as well. Later, Swain left the meeting midway.

Swain has also alleged that supporters of BJD leader, Pratap Deb perpetrated the incident.

“Nirad Senapati, a supporter of Deb, along with some other persons manhandled me and my supporters. I can easily recognise the accused. I have come to the Kendrapara SP office to lodge a complaint,” he added.

On the other hand, Deb refuted the charges.
