UP Police Arrests Man From Odisha On Sedition Charges

Salepur: Uttar Pradesh police on Thursday arrested a person from Kushambi village under Salepur police limits in Odisha's Cuttack district on Sedition charges.

As per the reports, a police team from Singhbali police station under UP’s Bagpat district booked the accused named Sayyed Hassan Ahmed under Sections 124 (A), 507, 504 and 353 (A) for allegedly posting threatening content on social media against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Ahmed was also accused of threatening some of the leaders belonging to Hindu organisations.
