TRIBUTE: PEETABAS PANDA

Bhubaneswar: Eminent journalist Peetabas Panda is no more. The versatile journalist, who worked in print and television with equal ease, left for heavenly abode in the wee hours of Sunday.

The untimely death of Peetabas has created a void which would be difficult to be filled.

After joining the OTV news portal team, Peetbas through his sheer dedication and hard work rose to become the input editor within a couple of years.

Peetabas not only excelled as a professional journalist, he was also a genuinely generous and caring person with a great heart.

With his shocking death at such a young age, the OTV has lost an able leader and a wonderful person who worked assiduously to reshape the news portal.

His brilliant communication skills paved way for keeping our vast network of experienced district reporters and energetic stringers in fine fettle.

Peetabas worked with utmost sincerity and set high standards of professional integrity.Peetbas made even made rookie reporters at ease through his suave and genteel manners.

He handled the most daunting newsgathering assignments with fortitude and he was unwavering in his commitment to keep OTV ahead in breaking stories.

Peetabas before joining OTV worked in Sun Times, Sambad, Indian Express and Naxatra TV. Peetabas will sorely missed by the journalist community of Orissa.
