Traders' body observes 12-hour bandh in Barpali

Bargarh: Normal life came to a grinding halt at Barpali in Bargarh district today following a 12-hour bandh called by the traders’ association.

The traders’ body called for the shut down demanding sub-divisional status for Barpali and establishment of a cancer hospital in the district.

Shops, markets, various business establishments, private and educational institutions remained closed in view of the bandh. Vehicular movement in the area was also adversely affected, reports said.
