Thunderstorm, Rainfall Warning For Four Districts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar today issued moderate thunderstorm and lightning accompanied with light rainfall warning in four districts of the State.

As per the latest forecast of the Met Centre, moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Malkangiri till 10 AM today.

The Met Centre in its last bulletin predicted that due to the low pressure trough under the influence of cyclonic circulation over south coastal Odisha & neighbourhood, it is likely to cause light to moderate rain or thundershower at many places of the State today.

The Met Centre had also issued yellow warning over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nawarangpur, Kalahandi, Gajapati, Rayagada, Cuttack, Khurda, Nayagarh, Puri, Ganjam, Balasore, Jagatsinghpur, Bolngir and Kandhamal today.
