Thunderstorm, Rainfall Alert Issued for 6 Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar on Monday issued thunderstorm with lightning and rainfall alert for six districts of Odisha. The warning has been issued for the districts--Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Nayagarh and Khurda districts till 5 PM today.

“Thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at a one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda including Bhubaneswar till 5 pm,” informed the IMD.

Earlier today, the weather department had also predicted that heavy rain will lash different parts of the State from July 11.
