Three youths killed after bike falls off bridge in Nuapada

Nuapada: Three youths were killed after their motorcycle fell off an under-construction bridge near Darlimunda village under Jonka police limits of Nuapada district late night yesterday.

Two among the three deceased have been identified as Chain Singh Majhi and Punitram Majhi of nearby Khaliapani village.

According to reports, the trio was returning home late night after watching Dhanu Yatra, when their bike lost control and skided off the bridge into the water accumulated under the bridge. The three reportedly died on the spot.

Locals spotted the bodies today morning and informed the police.

Subsequently, Jonka Police rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies from the water. Further investigation into the incident is on, informed police sources.
