Cuttack/Bhubaneswar: After two successful cadaveric kidney transplants in the State, two more persons struggling with renal failure are set to get a new lease of life with organ donation from a woman, who was declared brain dead by doctors.

As per reports, the 45-year-old woman identified as Rajalaxmi Das, a resident of Delanga area in Puri district was brought to Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital in Bhubaneswar four days back after she met with an accident. However, she was declared brain dead by the doctors on Wednesday. Following the incident, her family members decided to donate her kidneys.
