Student dies in road mishap, mob block N.H. 5

The deceased has been identified as Subash Behera, the son of Nityananda Behera, a resident of Behera sahi area in Dikshitpara.

According to reports, Subash, an undergraduate student at Chandeswar College, was run over by a truck while he was heading to his college on his bicycle this morning.

Following the incident, incensed locals burnt tyres and blocked the national high way in protesting against the death of the boy.

Meanwhile, Tangi police have reached the spot and started looking in to the matter.
