Bhubaneswar: Leader of Opposition Narasingh Mishra along with some senior Congress leaders today sat on dharana near the Mahatma Gandhi statue in the Assembly premises.
According to reports, Congress leaders were seen holding banners against the government over the rising infant deaths at Sishu Bhavan in Cuttack.
Speaking to reporters here, Narasingh Mishra levelled partisan role of the Speaker and an attempt to gag democracy.
Notably, the Assembly conducted the Question Hour session for the second day in a row without opposition members as both BJP and Congress continued to boycott of the House.
