Bhubaneswar: Senior High Court lawyer and former president of HC Bar Association, Ashok Mohapatra breathed his last today.
He was 62 and was bed-ridden after suffering from kidney complications for past few days, his family sources said.
Mohapatra was elected as the president of the Orissa HC Bar Association in 2015.
Renowned as a most sought-after lawyer during his career, Mohapatra is known for his successful stint in handling extremely crucial legal cases on Puri Rath Yatra issue, Durga Puja, repair works of Puri Srimandir and Sun Temple at Konark.
All members of the High Court Bar Association, noted personalities including Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan condoled the death of Mohapatra.
