Bhubaneswar: Noted filmmaker and veteran actor Kabir Bedi on Saturday said “injustice has been done” to Sanjay Dutt who was convicted of keeping unlicensed AK-56 in his possession.

Speaking to media Bedi, who is on a visit to the State, said, “He (Sanjay Dutt) has to make an appeal to the Maharashtra Governor who would take the final call. But, I feel, injustice has been done to him as he has been convicted of involved in anti-national activities even though the concerned person is not anti-national.”

Meanwhile, Bedi met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at the Secretariat here.

After the meeting the veteran actor said, “Naveen Patnaik and I went to college together. It was very good to catch up with him.”
