Road caves in again in twin city

Cuttack: Movement of vehicular traffic was disrupted after a major portion of a road near CDA sector-9 caved in today. As a six feet crater was caused on road, it created problems for the commuters as well as local residents.

Apprehending mishaps, locals blocked the road as a precautionary measure.

Earlier, a portion of road connecting Nicco Park and Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar caved in yesterday creating panic among commuters.

As per reports, a five-foot deep manhole developed on the road.

Locals said that a few days back sewerage work was undertaken on the roadside of the stretch where the hole developed.
