Ranji Trophy: Odisha Register Back To Back Wins After Trouncing Services

Cuttack: Thanks to an all-round performance, Odisha registered their second consecutive win in the ongoing Ranji Trophy season by thrashing the Services team by an innings and 31 runs.

The foundation of Odisha’s victory was laid by Debasish Samantray’s superb knock of 195 runs. This helped the hosts to post a mammoth score of 540 runs against the visitors in the crucial match played at DRIEMS ground in Cuttack.

Earlier, Odisha bundled out the Services team for 271 runs in their first innings. Later, Odisha posted 540 runs in reply. In their second innings, the Services team could only manage 238 runs with Vikas Hathwala being the top scorer with 71 runs.

With this win, Odisha got seven bonus points and now lead the points table with 14 points.
