Bhubaneswar: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday issued a fresh notification for the Pipili bypoll.
As per the notification, the last date for filing nominations has been fixed for April 26. While the scrutiny of nominations will be held on April 27, the last date for withdrawal is April 29.
The voting for Pipili Bypoll will be held on May 13, the ECI notification read.
The fresh notification for the by-election has been issued after the Returning Officer adjourned the poll as per the provisions of sub-section (2) of Section 52 of Representation of the People Act, 1951.
